Jordan was a hardworking immigrant and hustler in NJ who got caught up in selling cocaine to make extra money and support a lifestyle. He was later caught by police and arrested; causing him to serve 5 years in prison before being deported back to Liberia after being in America for countless years. Many deportees face the challenges of adjusting back to third world countries. Many deportees face the challenge of receiving support from the government to ensure their safety when returned back to their original birth place and the shame from family and friends for being a part of the “American dream” and being forced back to the streets as a “low class citizen”. About our program: Societies of Unity is a non profit organization working towards change in local communities by using technology skills to capture and bring awareness with visual activism. We help build youth development throughout filmmaking/ photography skills through our @creativewrldartspace programs. By providing mentorship and leadership, we formulate street team groundwork projects that tackle and build effective solutions using the power of media.

Peaceful elections in Liberia are crucial as they serve as a cornerstone for post-conflict stability, democratic progress, and national unity. Given Liberia’s tumultuous history of civil war and instability, peaceful elections signify the country’s commitment to sustaining peace and avoiding a return to violence. Furthermore, peaceful elections enhance Liberia’s international standing, attracting much-needed investments and support for development while promoting social cohesion and reconciliation among its diverse population. In essence, peaceful elections are the linchpin that holds together Liberia’s efforts to rebuild and prosper as a democratic and peaceful nation.
